Default axle lengths

im building a 8.8 from an explorer, since it has an offset pinion how would i correctly measure the axle lengths that i need?

If You have the rear end dis-assembled, have a helper hold a straight edge on the housing end while You measure from the straight edge to the pinion center, repeat on the other side.
If You are not narrowing the housing most axle manufacturers have the dimensions for a stock length housing.

Stock 4th gen camaro length is 32" Here is a list of different axle lengths that came in ford 8.8 rear ends.
