Default Just picked up a Moser 12 bolt, quick question

Okay so I just got a killer deal from a friend of mine on a Moser 12 bolt that has 4.11's in it. The rear only has about 4k miles on it. I noticed when I'm cruising in 4th,5th or 6th I get an annoying whine. I know that it's pretty normal to get some whine out of 4.11's (not much but some) but is there anything I can do to quiet it down? Could the gears be improperly set up?

the gears could have been improperly set,but trying to 'reset' them now after use could/most probably make it worse as they have a pattern wore in to them.
if you take them to a 'setting' that quiets them, they might go out of setting for strength and long life.
but then again you could get lucky.

Gotcha. So basically I'm better off getting a new set of gears?

who's to say a new set would be better or worse,a 'throw of the dice'.
