Default 2nd MWC rear purchase

I ended up selling my MWC 9 inch i bought 8 years to a local guy that was in a huge hurry for it so it gave me the chance to upgrade mine. I was super worried that it was going to take months to get my new rear but that was NOT the case. MWC delivered all the components to me in 4 weeks!! I was super impressed with the timeline.

I opted to not have it powder coated to help speed up the process in order to get the parts sooner, not sure if it made a difference though. I had a local friend powder coat the rear for me Misty Rootbeer. I was kinda worried about how it was going to turn out, but it turned out amazing and I am super happy. Need to finish up the rear brakes and swap it in.

Looks sweet, what options did you get. Have you weighed it sitting there like that?

It is fully optioned out, tow hooks, transverse shock mounts, 5/8 studs, 40spline axles ( looks to be gun drilled ) ,Pro HD case, and custom LCA brackets that I had added locally. This gained me an additional 3 holes over the standard 5 holes MWC builds them with.

I was gonna say it looked like you had a ladder of options. Any particular reasoning you'd want them to be that low, I'd think the bracket is bellow your wheel now if you ever had a blow out your going to be digging into the road.

Yeah, to get the car setup correctly for the suspension angles I want. Having a difficult time getting the car to leave on power. I ended up actually raising the car up an inch on my current 5 hole setup, and it actually made the car more consistent in 60ft times.

Consistency is key! I guess with a more dedicated track the options are what you need.

If it becomes an issue, I guess I can always remove what i don't need. The car should run 5.20s in the 8th but right now its fighting us and I think this is going to help somewhat.
