yes strange sells one. I thought there were posts here on length if no one knows I can go measure mine in the basement
FYI your better off getting one not using conversion joints

joint center to joint center I measure 41 3/4" and the yoke is 6"
so total length is (47 3/4" )
Never purchased a strange DS, I don't think strange would produce anything other than a quality product.. they know there **** so to say
the problem with conversion joints is your not any stronger than the small factory joints.
When upgrading the axle and using the stock drive shaft its like building a large cube engine and great flowing heads just to run the stock cam... seems pointless even though it works you limiting your self
also something else to look into is the yoke.. I saw a few threads where the cast ones broke with sticky tires I used a Mark Williams Enterprises billet yoke.. this might be overkill though however its worth a look...

I know when I purchase the S60 for my 2000 SS I'm gonna get the drive shaft from Carl at the same time. I talked to him a couple of days ago and he really explained everything to me about the S60. Good luck with yours. Let us know how it does.

That brings up a good Idea ^^^ I would contact Carl because It looks like you have a lot of really good questions and although I have some first hand experience he can give you better answers from a professional
its is bigger than stock. I guess you could say its preferred . and yes the dana comes with a 1350 pinion yoke. you will have to tell them that you are running a 1350 u-joints but they should ask.

i am buying it true bears perf., i am from Canada, not buying it direct, get's complicated when it gets at custums and you never kno whats its going to cost until it gets here. thats why i was asking about the drive shaft and if any body had got one and quality.

i also wanted them to installe the alum. support cover, i was told that they had clearences issues, that i would receive it with steel cover, have any body here have that cover on your diff, or even the black alum. cover ?

I ordered a S60 a few months ago and was told the same thing. They wouldn't send it with the black cover, only with the steel one. Kinda dumb if you ask me. It costs more to buy it outright than as an upgrade. I can't remember ever reading of anyone having clearance issues because of the cover.
