i'm looking for a pic of a 9" axle with 4 channel gear installed on it . The reason being I bought a 9" rear and my 10 bolt has 4 channel abs on it and am wandering if I can machine it to fit

the axle flange ends on the 9" should look the same as your
10 bolt with the 2 metal ring gears on each end

and no you can not machine it to fit after the fact.
the axles will have to been ordered that way from the beginning.
