Default Gears for 9inch

What is the best brad gears for a 9 inch. Gonna be street and strip. Car rite now is prcharged fbody and has 4.30s want to bump it down to 3.73s maybe? Can someone help with choosing gear size. Tires gonna be 26inch on street n 28 inch on track. Procharge fbody around 7xx to tire and a magnum tr660 from tick. Debating to go with the 2.66 gearset or the 2.97 gear set. What you all think for my setup with tires and rear gear choice?

that's the good thing about a 9", theres so many options about gear ratios, i think the 3.00 gear or 3.25 would be a good choice for ya

If you decide you want a 300 gear I have an original Ford set that is in very good condition. The OEM Ford gears are the best you can get. I wish I had something that I could put them in.

I would go with a set of Motive 3.70 gears for a 28 tall tire and 700+ rwhp.

I had 3.70 gears in my Camaro, shown here. Bob

I have roughly 650 rwhp, 28x10.5x15s slick, 370 Motives in a Moser 9. I go low 1.3s at 33350lbs, gears are as quite as stock. Bob knows his stuff!
