Default How to center 9'' in wheel well?

Last year I bought a used 9 inch and installed it in the car. When I was done I noticed the rear looks like it needs to be pulled forward about 1/2 to 1inch. my question is what is the right way to center it in the car? Adjustable lca's? I know I have seen people with problems like these before I couldn't find anything in a search. (I really did look hehe) Any help would be great thanks!
