Default Quick question about these 3.42's

Buddy of mine just picked up a posi for his camaro and in the purchase was a brand new set of 3.42 gears. He already has 3.42s and is going to sell me the gears. They are from summit racing, guy even gave him all reciepts for everything he purchased.

Just curious if all this looks right before I jump the gun. Hes giving me a great deal on the gears

And what all do I need to install them? He mentioned something about install kit? Still learning about the rears in these cars so figure I would post my dumb question

pics are way too big.
part list shows for GM 8.5" 10 bolt,TOTALLY different than the GM 7.5/7.625 10 bolt used in a 1998 camaro, unless your's has been converted over to that size rearend, which is improbable.

Correct me if I'm getting confused, but are you saying the gears on the differential are supposed to be new? Because they aren't, they all ready have a wear pattern on them and they should not.
