Differential noisy in turns.
My LT1 96Firebird makes noises from the differential, ONLY after it gets hot like a 30 min drive on the interstate with 70MPH.
and ONLY in slow tight turnes, like going in slow turns with parking the car.
after the car sits a while and in City driving i dont have this noise.
I will check the fluid level. there is a leak but not dripping.
anyone with the same experiences??
LT1 with 150,000 miles.

what kind of noise? is it like a moaning sort of? can you tell whereabouts? from the center section? or out near one of the tires?
to be honest, with the little info, it sounds like a possible problem with the clutches in the diff.......

I am going to change the oil. i got normal Valvoline 75/90 oil Which says limited slip. Nevertheless a bottle of Limited slip.additive from GM is necessary with my Stock differential G80 code I guess.
