Default Axel...

Would this axle be the cause of a WAHWAHWAH sound? Should I buy some new axles?

Old bearings...

New bearings with about 60 Miles on them replaced the old to get rid of the sound, only lasted about a day before the sound came back but only stronger..

What do ya think? Took it to a shop and they quoted me 1200$, but they only drove it and said it needed all kinds of stuff... like a new ring and pinion for 300 bucks...

If the axles are pitted like that they will damage any new bearings you install... you need new axles and new bearings (your 60 mile new bearings are no good anymore).

That axle is horrible. Replace it. Also put another new bearing in, as mentioned. If any bearing surface isn't smooth it needs replaced as a rough or worn one will destroy the new bearings in short order.

Did you check the other side also while you have things drained? Might as well.
