Default 4.10's okay with a4?

i have an 01 z06 that has 4.10 gears and im putting an a4 in it for the 1/4 mile, and im just curious if the 4.10 will be okay? with the m6 it was crossing the line perfectly for the mph/rpm, so i figured the a4 will be the same since 3rd will be 1:1, therefore making it the same, unless i pick up major mph from the swap lol but i wasnt sure if it was too much down low in 1-2? probably gonna need a good dr or bias ply? like to get by with a 255-50 DR. any input would be great!

stick shift=no clutch slippage
A4=convertor inefficiency(slippage),it'll take a higher rpm to attain what you had before.

4.10s' with an A4 are 'borderline' for strip use, unless you're going to a bigger dia.tire.

It's basically strip use only. I don't have tires yet so I'll have to wait n see. My Redline is 7300

I was using 26x11.5. I don't have any drag tires at the moment. I'll run it on street tires first and go from there. See if I need 26-28" tire.

I'd say 27" is the shortest tire id go with. 28" would be optimum w your setup
