Default Help with rear rebuild

I've got a 98 SS with the GU5 RPO code. My rear is getting a little play in the ring and pinion, so im going to go ahead and rebuild it. I dont dragrace my car so the 10 bolt will be fine for my type of driving. As far as i know it has 3:23 gears with the GU5 correct? Should i just upgrade the ring and pinion and maybe some better axles or should i get a new differential and everything? I also plan on replacing the bearings regardless if i swap the axles out. Also if someone could point me in the direction of what parts to buy; that would be awesome!

thats a nice setup ^ and Motive gears are supposed to be quiet as are GM gears , I wont throw others under the bus as sponsors sell others but some gears on the market are notoriously noisy

I have installed several different brands in my own personal vehicles such as motive, USA gear, Richmond, etc... And haven't had any trouble as long as they were setup correctly...

my 4.10s are quiet. im told heat cycling then changing your fluid makes a difference to seat things in properly.

Most of the manufacturers will have break-in procedures, and specific clearances for their gear sets. I have always followed these with my builds.
