i have a 10 bolt rear end still in my car.yesterday went for a ride and did some burnouts while doing some burnouts the car went one wheel and didnt feel right driving back home.When i got home i jacked the car up and turned the wheel forward and the opposite wheel went backwards. tore the rear end apart and nothing is broken or looks messed up. When car is on the ground and can push back and forth and hear a clunk in the rear end. what makes the rear end posi?

The differential does. Pushing back and forth with a clunk could be normal due backlash in the gear. You could have a problem in the diff, it is hard to see inside there to make sure things are kosher.

You haven't given a lot of info. How does it feel/sound going around tight corners? What doesn't feel right?

Original rear end? Did it have yellow springs?

When you have the car jacked up and you turn one wheel the other will turn backwards.

yes original yellow springs and yes when i turn one wheel the other turns backwards
