Default Crossmember mounted ds safety loop fitment

Has anyone had problems with fitment? I don't have the ds in the car yet, but I have the x member and loop in and from the looks of it the ds will hit the loop. The trans tail shaft from what I can tell looks centered in the tunnel so I'm going to say the loop is off. Car has solid motor mounts and a poly trans mount. I need some suggestions

Hmmm, a picture or maybe telling us the manufacturer or p/n of the part you are trying to install would be good information to provide.

I have MWC loop and I had to tweak it quite a bit with prybars and blocks of wood, but it fits perfectly now.

I got a couple pics but aren't real clear so I'll try to get some more and post them. It's a newer burkhart piece.

The loops are commonly offset a bit to the passenger side to help with torque arm clearance

The MWC is, from what I've seen, the one I'll be going with. With duals, and me running a full length TA, I like how theirs hugs up unside the tunnel.

Yeah exactly like that, but I think mine is even worse to the point that I won't be able to get the yoke into the trans

Was too close for me too. So my buddies pulled out the smoke wrench and we widened it slightly
