i removed diff took off the 8mm and that little pin wont remove its being blocked by the gears what should i do ? i need the backing plates for my 9inch

In your sig,4.10 gears are indicated. The 4.10s' were installed using the stock 'paddle' which was forced in past the ring gear during assembly. 4.10s' require a SLP split paddle or a modified 'ground' paddle. It's easier to force a stock paddle in than to remove it.
Grind the tips of the ring gear teeth until the paddle will come out. Where the teeth tips will end up being removed will be out of the 'pattern' anyway. I've done it.
