need help on 2.73 to 3.42 in my 99 z28 camaro
 

I have a 3.42 gear and carrier GM part.will it work or what all do I need for it?Thanks

If you have the gears and carrier (both being 3 series) then just get the install kit. It will have everything needed for a gear/carrier swap.

Where do I get the install kit?and I get it for the 3.42

You have to find out if your set up is 3 channel or 4 channel (without or with traction control) and matches your car. If your car is 3 channel you will need to have the 3 series carrier reluctor ring - your 2 series won't fit.

Without.I have 3.42 gear and carrier I think I'm going to just carry it to machine shop just let them have at it.lol

As a 99 I think you have series 2. Almost all sponsers carry them. Motive,GM,Yukon,Richmond..I run motive..You'll also want the master install kit.
