Big cam/converter guys, step on in

Needing a little advice on a ring and pinion ratio. I cant find any good info on similar setups to mine so this is what im working with

T-rex cam, circle d 4000 converter, and a built a4 trans..last year I ran a 4.10 with a 26in tire and it worked out awesome. I am now spraying a 200 shot and im on a 28in tire, which could work well at the track but im worried about the gear size. Since I have a decent size converter are my 4.10s hurting me with such a big cam? I feel like im blowing right through the gears and not letting the cam have enough time to shine in its power band both on motor and on the bottle.. Would I benefit or lose ET by switching to a 3.73 or possibly a 3.90? Thanks

I'm running a fully built A4 w/4000 yankSS, 12-bolt with 3.73's, 26in tire, torquer v3 cam, I think my gears are perfect for mine, so far I am running 11.2@121 and I still have more in the car. Hope this helps some

I'm running right at 6300 through the traps@ 121 with a 4.11/28" tire.

A4/4k stall, cam in 230ish @.050. I wish I had gone 3.89 just to have a little less rpm at the end. I had 3.90's in the 10 bolt and the car runs the same on motor with the 4.11's.
