Default Quick Performance Fab 9" detailed photos inside........

Pictured is the Quick Performance Fabbed option Ford 9" housing and axle package. This includes lighter weight fabricated housing, separate back bracing pieces I had them throw in separate in case I wanted to weld them on, torque arm adaptor, bearings, 35 spline moser axles, 5/8 3" long drag studs with lock nuts and the spacers and lug nuts as well. Paid $1276 shipped for all. I know they are not a sponsor but this thread is just for information for any who wanna see what this setup looks like. Because there isn't many pictures out there.

It will be a while on my center section as im just buying parts on impulse that I need as I get the funds. But the overall quality of the rear is great.

Whats that extra rod end clevis on the front drivers side of the housing for? I don't see a mating clevis on the torque arm mount. I haven't seen that on their set-ups before.

I just put one of those in my Camaro, I ended up ordering arp studs for the center section mounting and hardened bolts for the t- bolts. I couldn't get either to torque to spec before striping out.

Just a FYI. They did send me out new ones but I didn't trust them.

The rest looked really good, I did have to shave a 1/8 off of my pass axle because it was bottoming out on the posi unit. It must have been for a spool.

I had to open up the shock mounting hole and the lower control arm mounting hole is bigger then the control arm bushing.

I'll be running a spool. The part lying on the floor on the one pic is what bolts to rear for torque arm. I'll have to drill my pan hard hole out anyway since I run a custom bar we made that runs 3/4" bolts.

Wow that looks damn good. Especially for that price. Looks like that is what I will be looking into!

As far as the back brace goes, would they install new sway bar mounting brackets since the back brace gets in the way of the standard U-bolts?

Interesting. Glad to see QP is expanding their line of products. However, doesn't seem the 189lbs weight with an aluminum case is really that much lighter than a full 9inch?

Sway bar is something you'd have to figure out yourself I think. I may not put mine on just yet. I just had them throw it in since it was only 35 dollars. If they weld it on its 179.99 option.

The housing is 9lbs lighter than a factory 9 inch housing. Its only a 100$ option.
