Question regarding the retaining ring for the axle bearing on the 9 inch. When mine were getting pressed on, they bent one of the retaining rings and the other was stretched to the point of just sliding on and off the axle. Are they 100% necessary or can I get be without them? If they are a must, does anyone know if they are sold alone or do I need to buy another bearing just for the ring?

And by retaining ring, I mean press ring.

Call Moser and get 2 new ones. I sure wouldn't run axles in my car without them, they sure don't give them to you for nothing.

Yeah I already have a new set coming in tomorrow. Figured it's better just having the piece of mind. I appreciate the reply.
