Default voting time: which one suits me better?

i NEED a new rearend, and im debating between the ford 8.8" or the 9". im shying away from the 12 bolt because i will be spraying 150 shot out of the hole with 28" slicks, and i have my doubts how it will handle that.

the 9" would be the best choice strength-wise, i know its heavier and absorbs a little more power but im not TOO worried about that. my main problem is that i have 3 channel ABS setup and the car is a daily driver so im not too thrilled about removing the ABS.

the 8.8" to me sounds like a great choice. not as strong as the 9", but i think it should handle the stress ok. plus craig has a free replacement policy, which does sound nice if anything does happen.

either one i get will have 4.10 gears, and probably a locker also, tyo be driven daily on the street. (i know hte locker isnt TOO street friendly, but I can manage). which one do you guys think would be the better choice for me?

Dude you just described my car!
M6, cam only, 150 wet shot (out of the hole), 28" meats, so far 10.64 is my best, 6 grand clutch dumps, 103k mile daily driver.
And i have the 8.8 with everything on it. Except i have a spool and it is VERY streetable.

i got it from Craig at extreme chassis (.com). i gave him my ten bolt housing and backing plates and he gave me a plug and play 8.8 for 1950. the housing i got already had the control arm relocation bracets so that saved me $100 bucks. But i think craigs are better so i should have spent the extra $100.
