Stock 10 Bolt Common Noise Possible?
Hey everyone,
I wanted to know is it NORMAL for a stock 10 bolt with 3:42s to make a slight whine around 45-55 mph?
I've done a few passes a couple weeks ago and noticed that this sound just started today? It's hardly noticeable, I would have to turn off the radio just to listen to it carefully.
The rear end came out of a '02 Camaro SS M6 with 30K miles when the guy decided to upgrade the rear end. I've probably made about 9-12 passes in total with the new rear end installed. It has 75W-90 gear fluid too, the oil is about 2 weeks old since me adding some.
Any ideas?

All of mine had some whine between 40-70 accelerating, The whine actually hurts nothing. I would definitely run heavy gear oil if you want it to last, the heavier the better. Red Line 75W250 grade shock proof gear oil. GET SOME!
