looking to buy Strange s60
Finally saved up for a built rear end and decided on a s60. I plan to order it through MWC. I'll also be upgrading the driveshaft as well. can someone give me a length or know it already? car is LT1/T56. thanks

the guys at Midwest chassis already know the lengths for the driveshafts for ls1 cars, they should be able to give you the right length for an lt1/t56 car.

There is existing length available for this combination but keep in mind if you choose a predetermined length and it is to short or to long for your combination there is no exchanging it. This is why we recommend customers to measure for proper driveshaft length after they install the rearend, set wheelbase, set ride height, and set pinion angle. All these things can alter drive shaft length.

Have you purchased your rear end yet? I'm thinking about doing the same soon. But I'm on the fence on what to do, some are telling me to just rebuild my OEM 10 bolt, however the more I read the more I don't want to put anything into the old one. Curious how you made out.

Congrats, can't wait to see how you like it. Are you going to install it yourself or have it done? I'm hoping to at least get the rest of the season out of my noisy 10 bolt and then pull the trigger on a replacement. I don't mind having it down over the winter.

My car is up on jack stands right now in the garage. I'm changing the leaky pinion seal and fluid. But I know I hurt something when leaving the gas station sideways on a freshly paved road last week 🤔
Good luck with the install.

Got the s60 in the car today. Fit very well. Just had to trim the torque arm mounting point a bit. Everything bolted right in. Took it for a 15 minute initial drive and it was very quiet. Going to break it in per usual over the next 500 miles. So far so good. Added some pics as well.

Looks good! You made that look way too easy. What are you running for a torque arm? I had a adjustable body mount and removed it because I was tired of all the noises and banging. I'm back to OEM

I have a full length BMR adjustable one with a relocation crossmember as well. Good amount of noise and banging too but I just open the cutout and floor it and forget about it.

Exactly what I had and I wasn't impressed at all considering what it cost me. As I get older I tend to appreciate a more refined quiet suspension. I love the sound of my exhaust as well but hate when it sounds like things are rattling around.

Almost 2 months, how is the rear doing? Still pretty quiet and no issues? I'm trying to get a couple more weekends out of mine and then have no choice but to replace it over the winter
