like one of these: http://www.svtperformance.com/forums...to-fit-any-8-8

or the finned GT500 cover? Just curious if any issues clearing the panhard bar?

I couldn't tell you on the 8.8 if it does or not but I know it does with the Strange Aluminum Differential Covers on the S60. Ride height and tire size will make the interference. I've had some customers run them with no issues and others not be able to use them. This is the reason why Strange only sells them separately now.

That cover looks neat but I'd suggest a LPW cover that will accept a brace kit. This is the only way you get 8.8 to survive in a Mustang chassis I'd imagine the swap to torque arms would be even more beneficial in having it braced.

This is the one we most commonly sell and install on our 8.8 builds.

He wasted all that time and effort cutting up a cover...when new aftermarket covers are only $150 ?

WOW. He really has too much time on his hands

they started that on the IRS rears and you have to drop the pumpkin to get it out and then have to modify? I think I'm out the Ford Gt500 covers are cheap enough and they are finned to disipate some heat
I wont need bracing this is a street car

I had the LPW cover for a while but my car is lowered a good bit and the top fins on the cover would hit the gas tank at max. travel. It cleared the panhard bar but not by much. That said, I like the design with the ability to preload the caps.
