Default Burnout Tire Marks... Rear End Question

Hey everyone! I have had my 2000 Trans AM WS6 M6 for two years now. It has a little over 75K miles on it.

It is mostly stock except for all new suspension, a magnaflow catback and a volant dual cone. I haven't had a chance (or have really been afraid of blowing my rear end up) to drop the clutch.

But last night the opportunity arose and I put the car into first gear, rev'd to 4k and dropped the clutch. Things went well and had a lot of fun in the process.

But I wanted to see the marks I had left behind. Came back around to notice both tires left a mark but the passengers side left a tire mark considerable longer. I mean the drivers side was maybe 2 feet when the passengers side was 10 to 15 feet.

I always thought my car had positraction and a Marisa Tomei moment would happen, with both wheels spinning equally.

So my questions are as follows:

1. Is that normal for my year (2000) rear end to react that way?

2. Does my car not make enough power to break both wheels? (New tires are 275 nitto nt555g2's)

3. Do I have a problem with the Limited slip and have to possible replace it?

Thanks for reading and for your help.

You do have posi traction. But the movie you're referring to isnt exactly correct. In lamens terms, posi traction moves power around from side to side in an attempt to give power to the wheel with more traction. The problem is, it isnt perfect, or equal, and it has limits. Think of it as a bias, little more left, little more right but NEVER locked together equal. If you want 100% equal and even black marks you'll need a locker or a spool, everything elese will give you some variance but never perfect.
