We offer one for any style rear end. As for worth you won't see an 8.8 in a Mustang with out one or a G-Body with a 10-bolt. We are now seeing more and more Gt500 and late model Mustangs coming in for them. It is generally one of the first things to do to help them survive.
It never seemed to mover over to the F-Body world.

If you're making anything over stock power and drag race the car, then do it. That is assuming you want to try to make the 10 bolt live, which most people consider futile. If you do a decent amount of racing you may want to just step up to a fab 9, 12 bolt, or S60.

does this require welding ? lets say you were trying to beef up your 10 bolt, would this be the 1st or last item you'd upgrade? stronger axles ; eaton posi; ??weld tubes??(who can do that?); girdle ; yes i already know most of you wouldnt spend a dime on a 10 bolt. thx

i run a bone stock 8.8 in my s10 down to the gears from a ford explorer they are 31 spline so a little better than a mustang 8.8 and ive never took the time to brace my axle tubes also one side of my axle tubes has been cut to fit and should be a weak spot but it carriers the tires and hasnt had issue yet but on a ten bolt id prob scrap it before strengthening it

I beef up my 10 bolts, because the class I race in requires the stock rear end for the model. Easiest thing to do is the girdle cover. I swapped the diff out, and welded the tubes while it was apart. If you need more than that I'd do stronger axles, then weld on a back brace beyond that. If all that fails, you need a 9" brotha.
