Default For anyone trying to get the Abs inop and brake light off on rear end swap

I bought my car a while back, 98 trans am, and it has a 9in rear end it it without abs so I've been driving around with the abs inop and brake light on. It's been annoying me and I really didn't want to pull the cluster and remove the bulbs, so I decided to tackle the problem this weekend.
I looked at a few wiring diagrams and found that the abs module has a light green wire, fault wire, that illuminates those lights and turns them on in the cluster. So I thought I'll simply just remove that wire and bingo the light will go out, well it didn't quite work that easy. I removed the wire from the connector and plugged it back up, light was still on. A little frustrated, I thought to myself well it either supplies a ground/hot feed to the gauges or removes it. So I just simply took the light green wire I removed from the harness and hooked it up to a good ground and bingo the abs inop and brake light went out. Haven't had a chance to drive the car and verify, other then backing out of the garage, to make sure the light stays out but it's looking promising.

Just thought I'd post this incase someone was in the same boat as me, cause if you simply pull the bulbs then you loose your idiot light for the emergency brake pedal and it would be easier to put back to stock. I took a few pics and will try to post them

Where is the harness that you pulled this out from?

Drove the car, the abs inop light never came on but the brake light did. Went back into the harness and found the small yellow wire with the black line going through it, it's in the center row next to the bigger power/ground wires, also needed to be grounded. So after that, drove the car all day and no annoying abs inop or brake light on. Brake light still works off the park brake tho. The harness I'm talking about is for the abs module, it's located under the hood, left front side. It has a blue lock tab you have to pull to get the connector off or I guess you could just pull the loom apart, pull the light green & yellow/black wires out, snip them and ground them.

Any idea where I can track these wires in my 95 Camaro LT1? My harness doesn't have the same feeds as the 98s and up... It's driving me nuts!
