Stange 12 bolt NEW $2053 vs used $2400 So im in the market for a 12 bolt rear end since I destroyed the my stock 10 bolt. I keep getting quotes on used ones for around $2200-$2400 but I can get one new for about $2000. Am I looking at something wrong? Should I just get the used one? Is this quote wrong on the new one? I have attached a quote to this thread as an example.

I'm not expert by any means, so take that with caution and do your own research. The reason i did one on my 12bolt years ago was that it was suppose to keep things in place. I'll say no more other than their direct marketing and you can make your own decision if the $110 is better spent elsewhere.

Take my advice and get the powder coat. I saved and wished i hadnt. Went back and had it powdercoated years later cause i hated looking at it. Here's my build thread with costs included.
