Default Ford 8.8" converting to 5 bolt w/4.75 pattern?
I picked up a 8.8" today out of a 89 foxbody. It has a 4 lug bolt pattern and I am wondering if there are any axle manufactures out there that make a 5 lug pattern with the GM 4.75" bolt pattern??

Just pick up a set of 8.8 axles out of a 5 lug car. Then drill the new holes in the flange centered between the old ones... The Explorer 8.8 axles are 5x4.5 iirc. The Lincolns, and big body ford cars use them too.

Arent the axles out of the explorer and other non-foxbody cars longer? I think drum to drum the 89 8.8 is 59.5"

I use Moser a lot
Call them and tell them what your 8.8 came from and explain to them you want Chevy pattern
