I've kept an eye to see how it turned out, glad you got this taken care of. At the same time it sucks you had to do all that work to get it to fit. I feel that if you pay that much for a rear end it should be plug and play all the time. You guys are paying premium for this stuff. They should have all of the issues ironed out. Hope you enjoy that thing for the pain it's been, after its break in of course.

The link didn't work for me.

Here's my review of the Hawk's 8.8 in my 91 RS. I like it week enough the 99 TA got an almost identical Hawk's 8.8 rear.

Sad. That should of went back. Not the first time I've seen issues with their product. Problem is few are vocal enough to let the rest know. This is common in the aftermarket. There is only a handful of truly good people making stuff that's engineered correctly.

Great minds think alike!!! I recently replaced mine last week with a Moser and had no issues. Maybe they are addressing the complaints. I went and dumped the clutch way up there and my clutch slipped like a MF! Well, back to doing research and spending more money! lol

I’d be pissed too! More pissed about the end of the axle tube being bent though! That thing had to be mistreated pretty badly to do that
