How to make a 12 bolt survive behind a T56?
I've currently got a Moser 12 bolt that has been rebuilt with Yukon gears, 30 spline axles (I think), and an Eaton HD. The car should be making about 500rwhp right now and is surviving just fine. The problem is my future plans include a bigger cam, further porting on the heads and intake, and nitrous. I really don't want to go 9in if i can make the 12 bolt work.
I've already bought 35 spline axle and I'll probably go with a spool and Yukon gears again. I'm also considering an LPW brace kit. What do yall think? Will it hold up?

I've researched that very question a lot recently. My conclusion is that I see no way around the stress on the ring and pinion with the torque arm design and running a manual transmission. It may hold up for a good amount time, but will likely whine like hell eventually if you shock it hard enough. If someone can find a good solid way around this then I will definitely buy a 12 bolt lol

Yeah it's really hard to say. My buddy has a Moser 12 bolt in his 402 stroker 2000 SS with t56 with about 500 rwhp. It runs high 10's, and the rear howls like crazy he said. Maybe im off base here, but if something starts making that kind of noise, it tells me that something is going to give way sooner or later lol
