Strap vs U bolt ls3 6l80e setup for pinion yoke So I'm running a ls swap with a 6l80e camaro trans going with the sonnax adapter to the 3 bolt on back of trans and a slip spline driveshaft thanks to you guys on the forums for helping me get the info.
Question for the pinion yoke I have a 8.5 10 bolt 3:73 gears
What would you run a u bolt type or strap type pinion yoke and why?
What's the best pinion yoke 1350 in either application?
I've seen the forged and cast Yukon(leaning toward) , Moser and strange but unsure if they are u bolt or strap type. All infoon strap or u bolt and experiences or any other brand are greatly appreciated as always. I'm building a cruiser no more then 550 to 600 hp if that factors in.
