Getting ready to pick up my 95 Comp TA. Was wondering how to identify the Ford 9 in that is underneath it. IDK much about these rearends at all... Its quiet, no leaks, brakes are done, just wondering how to identify it.? Guessing the car was built for drag racing...? It has a 383 w all bolt ons, M6, full suspension. But rides, drives really nice.

Also, are their pro's, cons to the 9in? I know the ABS light is on and stays on.... Not a big deal... Just trying to educate myself. Thanks in advance.

There is no place to hook up ABS if that says anything...? I cannot find any identifying marks on the rearend itself...?
