There was a horrible grinding noise as I slowly pulled out of my driveway, then the grind and drag stopped and I found this. It survived which is a testament to it's hard shell. You can even see the scrape line in the concrete.
LMAO!! Well hopefully they can take solace over the fact that I made sure that the poor thing was ok. And Hey .. that's what happens when nature meets humanity; but it sure didn't help the poor fella that the TA was 1 1/2" dropped either.
Imagine how much more of a bad day that tortoise could have had. I bet you were relieved when you saw it wasn't your car. How bad did you wear that tortoise's ring and pinion from that scrape?

I was very relieved. I'm guessing that it's ring and pinion was much more robust than my 10 bolt.
