Have a thin cut 3.73 in a 12 bolt with the Moroso Brute strength unit and when I turn right or left the clunking noises sound like the axle is exploding and breaking into pieces. Called Moroso and Eaton and they suggested using Lucas non synthetic and Ford friction modifier. So I just got done with the test drive and it may actually be louder than before with the amsoil synthetic and napa posi additive. Eaton rep told me I could change to lighter springs and carbon fiber clutches to eliminate the noise. Would I be wasting my time and money trying that or should I just buy a new Posi unit and gear?
