Default 2001 z28 rear end chatter noise

I have a 2001 automatic only 30,000 miles so when I hammer on car with traction off I get a ton of chatter feels like gears breaking apart only when I take off with tire spin , pulled cover visual everything ok changed fluid and added posi additive cause previous owner mentioned about changing seal or something figured he didnt add additive so after I drove and tested seemed ok on street didn’t have noise after several attempts went to track last nightt and did my burnout, ok then soon as I get light at line I hit it and it’s back two passes same thing just feels like major chatter no noise at all or whining when I drive normal only with load on any ideas ?

Have you checked the pinion, axles and bearings for wear?

I basically just looked visually for any gear damage and didn’t see nothing or any excess metal shavings at all

Yeah it sounds like when you load it up there's something not right. Your going to have to go through it and inspect everything to make sure it's as it should be or just keep beating on it until it rears its ugly head..

Since you have a 2001,it would have a Torsen posi, which doesn't require/need the friction modifier additive. It has a 'complicated worm gear set' instead of clutches.
Sounds to me like it could be 'wheel hop' which could feel like extreme chatter. If you're still running OEM rear shocks and OEM LCAs with the rubber bushings,WHEEL HOP.
What is your rear suspension ??? Your answer will determine what's needed.

i have stock rear shocks, and manual says to add psi additive and this definitely isn’t wheel hop

Yes, the manual does say to add the LSD additive, but @FirstYrLS1Z is correct that it's not actually needed for the '99+ Torsen rears. It won't hurt to add it, but it's not going to improve the operation of a Torsen unit (i.e. it's not required for this style of LSD) so that's not going to be at the root of your issue.

If this only happens under load (meaning when the LSD is functioning) then the unit itself might be failing. The stock Torsen is not known for superior strength.
