How much can stock driveshaft take?

Finally getting to take the WS6 to the track this weekend with sticky tires on it. Has a fresh LS3 with heads, cam etc, PB trans with FTI 3600 stall and MWC Fab 9...Im planning on getting a new strange shaft next week, but just curious of how much the stock ds can take off the line without breaking. I know there are those out there making more HP than me and those are holding up for the most part...

Mine held up fine. Ran to 11.1 with the stock driveshaft and tq arm behind a stick. I would think a auto would be easier on it.

I guess I will find out this weekend...its over 500 at the wheels, the tq arm has been replaced with the mwc set up. I would be happy running the number you ran with the new set up...at least the mwc set up has a dsl in case it does break.

You should be well past me with 500whp. I did that at 413whp.

Depends on if it's steel or aluminum. I have kept the steel one for a reason.

Ran a 1.5x on 60ft...Didn't have an issue at on the stock alum shaft...

Just FYI, I ripped a stock aluminum one in half making 388/347...on bald MTs.
