Default m6 4.10 guys, do i have 4.10's

i bought a z28 here recently and the only supposed mods are shaner s2 and b&m ripper shifter and basically the car does not catch traction anywhere in first and not really 2nd either. i did a search and read some threads about highway rpms and i dont think the car has stock gearing. I could be wrong but, i have stock 16's with like some 255s and at 45 i'm in sixth at about 1300
at 70 its around 1900 and 80 a little over 2000 maybe 2100. thanks for the help.

Cant you put the car on jackstands, put the tranny in nuetral and mark the drive shaft and tire then rotate the drive shaft 3 times, watching the rotation of the tire?

Or you can rotate the tire once and count d/s revolutions.

4.10's are a blast aren't they. Go out and have fun. Don't have too much fun otherwise this will happen.
