Default 1000 mile fluid change
Hit 1000 miles on my strange 12 bolt.I have the LPW cover.Strange told me to take it off & clean out the inside and remove any metal shavings.When I put the cover back on do I use rtv sealer or do I have to buy a gasket ?

The install from the factory was RTV. I used the same stuff after the first 1,000 miles. I was happy as I had absolutely no shavings.
