Default where to get inexpensive drive shaft

i need a steel drive shaft that doesnt cost too much becuase i will have to get a new one once i get the new rear end in, but that will be about a year or so until that can happen. with about 450 hp to the ground im not gonna test the stock drive shaft out. where can i find a steel drive shaft for the stock rear end that doesnt cost too much? i will not be on slicks, maybe DR's but no hard launches on the stock rear end

I got a 3" chromolly unit from APE, I can't remember the price but it was either $300 or $330. Served me well thus far.

I'm in the market for one as well. I haven't found any others that are much below the average.

I stuck on MT DR's today. My DS, 12 Bolt Posi, and torque arm are not going to be happy with the new neighbors...

I think for the chromolly ones you can expect to pay 3-350. The good HD aluminums are around 400-500. I think the Lingenfelter 3.5" Aluminum was a bit cheaper, but IIRC they don't reccommend them for cars with slicks and a clutch or transbrake.
