Having a hard time trying to get a 1LE Transmission Mount I ordered a 1LE transmission mount from a LS1.com sponsor and received the same exact mount that is on my car. I called them about it and they ordered another one but this time had it sent to the dealership. It was the same part as the standard mount too. They followed up w/ GM and was told that the part number was updated to be the same one as stock.
Has anyone heard this? How can I get one? I've heard that the slp 1LE mount is a different size (transmission sitting higher) Maybe the LT1 transmission mount, so I don't want that.

Re: Having a hard time trying to get a 1LE Transmission Mount I read that in mid 1999 forward, all 6 speeds had the 1LE mount as standard. My car was built in February 99, and does not have the 1LE mount.
I did order one from SLP, but the mount was 1/2 inch taller then mine, and caused the tranny to hit the shifter tunnel, causing a rattle. I still haven't ordered a correct one yet.
