Default Rearend loking up.

It happened about 4 times so far. I have a 6 speed T/A. I took 2nd to red line shifted to 3rd BOOM, rearend locked up. And no I didn't go back to 1st, I know that's what I tought first to. Took it to the dealer because the noise that started coming from the rearend the first time, and they put new gears and bearings in it. Got it back a few days later happened again twice. Took it back they changed the bearings in the rearend because they were messed up. Nothing to the trany yet. Then it happened again. They don't want to take the trany apart because they can't duplicate it. Sure they can't their to slow. <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">
I am thinking that I have a bent shift fork and is locking 2nd and 3rd gear together. Let me know if I am close and what do you think I shuld do.
Any help would be apreciated. Thanks.

Get the service writer in the car with you and try it, Or next time it happens Do not touch the shifter and let them see that it is locked.

It does sound like it is not shifting out of second before third is engaged.
