Brake Package

anyone use the package thunder sells with powerslot rotors and hawk pads?

Comments? seems like an OK deal

Without a comment on pricing, what do you want the package for? The Hawks should be decent pads (so are stock!!), but the powerslot rotors, while certainly better than stock, are not top-of-the-line. They do look good, but you might want to look at getting some Baer Eradispeeds if you want top notch (but will cost more). I would encourage you to get more feedback from other people as to what they think of Powerslots vs. Eradispeeds vs KVR vs stock . . .

I've been researching brakes for a while and I'm planning on going with Bear Eradispeeds too. I was thinking of going with KVRs because they're cheap until I heard that they get a lot of hairline craks <img src="gr_eek2.gif" border="0"> . No thanks. I don't think brakes are something to skimp on. <img src="graemlins/gr_judge.gif" border="0" alt="[judgement]" />

I gotta new set of Powerslots and Hawk pads for Christmas. I'm putting them on tomorrow.

Powerslots are fairly priced and are great rotors. Eradispeeds are top-notch brakes and very expensive.

Get what ya want...just do a little research on the packages people have.
