Default Another Brake question (BAER Packages)

I have a '96 T/A and I'm going to maybe soon be needed to do some brake work.

I was thinking of maybe going with the "Thunder Racing Complete LT1 Braking Package" on this page:

http://www.thunderracing.com/index.c...ategoryid=1006

but looking down on that page some I see the BAER upgrade package for the front. Now it would cost more to do this (I'm estimating about twice as much) to go with the Sport 12" rotor package and then just do new pads and turn the rotors in the back.

I'm wondering if anybody has put that BAER brake package on before and if it would be worth the price being twice as much as the "Thunder Racing Complete LT1 Braking Package" where I'd get new back rotors and steel lines in back also.

Any help anybody could give me on this would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Ted

PS - I'd probably go slotted and zinc washed. I thought about the cross drilled for the same price but I'm thinking that may take away from the scrubbing area and not be useful for me. Please do correct me if I'm wront, to have them cross drilled wouldn't cost any more.

Sorry if a LT1 powered car question is not fitting on here. I just like to get technical info about things and as of right now can't afford an upgrade to an LS1 powered car. I don't know where else to turn to find this info and get to have this many people view it.

BTW - I have 16" wheels otherwise I'd go for the 13" (track) kit. Considering the 12" sport kit has got thicker rotors over the similar priced 13" (track) kit, maybe the kit that I am limited to will be just fine. It's only going to be for street use anyway.

Hey, how's the weather up in MN? I use to live up in Eden Praire, MN before moving down to GA here this last Feb.
