Default ?? for installers, shops, people with experience

I have searched, but I need an answer once and for all. I am going to get a delux install kit for my 10 bolt but need to know which company makes the quitest gears. People call Motive the ***** of the industry, people say strange and us gear are good but noisy, same with richmond. So what should i get. I need an answer, as i want to do this mod soon.

OEM gears are the quitest ones out there, I used GM 3.42's in my Caprice and they have held fine and make no noise.

yeah, but supposedly the oem units aremanufactered by companies that sell gears outright. A dealer store told me that oem gears are different. One buyer may get motives, another something else.

US Gear is typically much quieter than the Richmond gears. If this is going into the stock 10 bolt it may be a moot point, as I have seen enough flex in these rears to ruin a quiet set of gears after several launches. Bob
