Might be a stupied question but I always hear that ls1 have the same rearend out of an s10. If i found a rearend out of an s10 would it bolt up?

well, not too easily, i don't know if the widths are the same, they use the same ring and pinion and carriers though. 7.5 in
the fbodies have a torque arm and lower control arms instead of leaf springs, plus disk brakes, not drums like 98% of s10s have, if they even ahve a rear disk option.
