m6, all mods in sig, 150 shot, around 450-480 hp, shift around 5.8-6k, i run 1/4 and street. what gear would be the best for me? im doing my 12 BOLT rebuild and tring to decide what gear. im lowered so 28" tire will probly be the biggest i can go, if that big. with the 4:10 i could prob go as far as 26", or 27", or 28", with 4:30's could i go with a 26" and not shift into 5th?

I had a 4.30 in the car before the last cam swap and old combination. I moved to 4.70's with this new combination.

with your power, a 26" tire and 4.30's will having you crossing in 5th. That's a no-no.

I'm at almost 7000 with the 430 and 26" tire on motor. No way it would make the 1/4 on spray with a 26" tire.

Had the 4.10's did not like them at all, I went with 3.73's and love em.
