Default what are your best 60ft on stock rear ends

mine has a T/A cover auburn pro pos and a 3:73 gear and i am cutting 1.80 60 ft but need new tires and i don't want to put anything too sticky for fear of breaking my rear end

so what kind of 60's are you guys cutting on sticky tires and what have you done to your rear to make it stronger?

and what tires are you running

I believe my best has been a 1.43 so far. I did do a cover an axles though. Plenty of A4 10 bolts have held up to 1.40s on a regular basis. But I'm sure that there are plenty more that have not.

My best with the stock 10 (big Auburn, Rich. 3.73's) with my old LT1 was a 1.63 spraying a 150 out of the gate.

I've been cutting high 1.4's but broke it Saturday night. I have not tore it down yet to see what actually broke though.

Best Ive seen is JFM (moderator) . He is still running his stock 10 bolt with 4.10 gears

He has done 1.40 60 fts on it. Thats on n/a power. I am sure If he was power adder the extra tq would bust that rear. Still killer 60 fts though
