Replacing girdle...what else should I do?

Replacing girdle...what else should I do? I was thinking about buying a fully built 10-bolt (I know, 12-bolts are better...don't need the reminder) but a buddy of mine said that a stronger girdle would help, but he also said that another part should be replaced with that. However, he could not remember what that other part was. If I get a stronger girdle, like the TA Performance one, what else should I replace? I have a Zexel diff with brand new Richmond 3.73's and all brand new bearings, shims, etc. Please let me know.
