Spool For 10blt?? Differences In Late Model 10's??
 

I've done searches and haven't come up with a lot. Questions are-

1. Does ANYONE make a full/mini spool for a F-body 10blt?

2. WTH type of 10 bolts came in what? I thought all F-body/S-10/etc. GM 10 blts were 7.5's?? Now after searching for spools I see there are 7.85's and 7.65's??? WTF? Do the rears vary by years/models/etc.?

There are some difference in the 10 bolts from all the years of production. Summitracing.com offers a Mini spool for the 10 bolt. I look at it in there catalog all the time. Hope this helps.

Checked with them already. They say it's for the 7.5" 10bolts with 26spl. axles.

Everyone I've talked to said that all the 7.5's made after '88/'89 are "actually" 7.625's, or 7 5/8's.

I have yet to find anyone that makes or will make a spool for the 7.625's....

Do you have you had the actual mesurments for there mini spool it might be 7.625, but they are still refered to it as a 7.5 just a thought take a few measurment before ruleing it out. Compare it to what you have etc... Sorry if it doesn't help.
