Well, I have to say this is the fastest answer I've ever got from a company.
US gears/ Strange doesn't make custom orders.
They didn't say it is not done, but they said I would have to order 20.000 units fo them to do it.
LOL Should we have a GP , hahahahah

Question stands.

Any company makes SINGLE custom gear units for 12 bolt 8.8 Chevy???

I'd say you have 4 possibilities as far as manufacturers....US Gear, Richmond, Motive and Precision Gear. I'd call 'em all.

Why do you HAVE to have a 3.55?

To optimise my traps without having to go into higher rpms with the custom cam I'm getting.
3.42 not enough and 3.73 would send me over my rpm before the finish.
This will be on a A3 (TH400)

As per my calculations 3.52 would be ultimate for my future track setup.

I'm making this setup to still be able to drive on highways at 80 mph (speed limit here)comfortably, yet a low 10's at the track.

Could always switch out for a Ford 8.8" with a 3.55. Just a thought.

Good luck getting someone to tool, up for a single run... you'd be better off messing around with tire roll outs or different type or differental I have a set of 3.55 9 inch gears myself..

Percision, Richmond and USGear/Strange make standard 8620 gear 3.55 sets for the 12 bolt passenger car differential.

Yes there are a few companies that will make custom 'one off' gear sets, but I dont think you want to afford that. It will run you about 8-10k for a single set......
